This week's races will be dedicated the memory of our good friend Johnny Cotten. In addition to a portion of the race proceeds, we'll be taking donations on-site to support his wife and two little girls. You can also contribute via PayPal, by sending to jim_byrd@tx.rr.com


The first lap of each race will be neutral in honor of Johnny's memory.

That's me on a borrowed bike with toe-clips that's three sizes too small. What am I doing? I'm racing in THE TOUR DE FRANCE, that's what I'm doing! Oh, and in case you didn't notice, that's road rash all over my body. So I don't want to hear any crap about "It's too hot to race" or "My allergies really kick in when the ozone levels are high".... Scheisse, don't be such a girly man!!! Put your overpriced plastic bike in the car and get out there and race. You don't want to see me when I'm angry."

Elk Hill Circuit Race - August 7th 2010

All you South Ride regulars know it and love it, so now you get to ride it over and over and over again!  It's the locally famous Elk Hill and you'll get to climb every time around a 2.5 mile circuit.

Dallas Thursday Nighter & Ben Spies

Despite suffering an ankle injury at last weekend's Monster Energy Grand Prix de France, Ben Spies will make another appearance at tonight's Dallas Thursday Nighter. So all your motorcycle nerds, bring your man-crush out to Sunnyvale and meet the 2009 World Superbike Champion!!!

 

There will be lots of ice cold refreshments for everyone and the usual bunch of primes for the racers.
